John Wick

Keanu Reeves stars in the high adrenaline action film as John Wick, a retired hitman who returns to the crime world when his home is invaded by the son of his former employer. The point of the film isn’t really the plot, its the high octane car chases, gun fights and stunts. Chad Stahelski and David Leitch co-directed the film, they are probably best known for being the stunt coordinators on The Matrix series. Reeves will reteam with them for the 2016 television mini series, Rain, about another assassin, John Rain. The trio will produce with Reeves also starring. John Wick is rated 14A.
Hector and the Search for Happiness

Simon Pegg plays a British psychiatrist who travels around the world in search of the source of happiness. A charming film about finding your own happiness in a world filled with wonder. Peter Chelsom (Serendipity) directed and co-wrote the film which is an adaptation of François Lelord french novel, Le Voyage d’Hector ou la Recherche du bonheur. Rosamund Pike, Stellan Skarsgård, Toni Collette, Christopher Pulmber, and Jean Reno co-star. Hector and the Search for Happiness is rated 14A.
Dracula Untold

Part of Universal’s monster makeover comes the origin story of Dracula. Luke Evans stars as Vlad the Impaler, an ancient Romanian prince who transforms into the title Vampire to save his land from the invading Turkish Sultan played by Dominic Cooper. Sarah Gadon costars as Vlad’s wife. The monster movie was a box office hit making roughly $215 million dollars. Dracula Untold is rated 14A
The Best of Me

Nicholas Sparks newest adaptation stars Michelle Monaghan and James Marsden as Amanda and Dawson. Former highschool sweethearts who haven’t seen each other in 20years, but manage to pick up where they left off even though their lives have changed drastically. Luke Bracey and Liana Liberetto co-star as the teenage versions of the characters. Like any Nicholas Sparks adaptations its heavy on the romance but also has a tear inducing storyline, so you might want to grab a box of tissues for this one. The Best of Me is rated PG.
Ouija

The surprise box office hit of October, Ouija is a teen horror film about, you guessed it a haunted Ouija board. When Debbie commits suicide after using the Ouija board, her friends and sister use the board to attempt to contact her spirit. Unfortunately for them, they awaken evil spirits who were haunting Debbie’s house. Ouija is the first Hasbro property to be turned into a horror film. The toy company has many more proprieties that will be hitting the big screen in the next few years, including more Transformers and GI Joe films there are also Monopoly, Candy Land and Magic the Gathering movies in the works. Ouija is rated 14A.
Studio Ghibli
Walt Disney Studios released three films from their Studio Ghibli archives, Porco Rosso, Pom Poko and Tales From Earthsea. All three films are available on Blu-ray and DVD combo packs and is the first time these titles have been made available on Blu-ray.
