Canadian jobs outlook

The forecast isn’t good for Canadians looking for work.

Employment in the early part of this year isn’t expected to grow enough to budget the national jobless rate of 7.4%.

After a strong start to 2011, Canada’s labour market stalled during the summer and pulled back in the fall.

The unemployment numbers for December come out on Friday.
