Talks between Air Canada and its flight attendants are continuing today in Montreal ahead of a strike deadline this week.

The two sides have been discussing their latest proposals.

The Canadian Union of Public Employees says the airline presented a counter-offer to a proposal that the union made Saturday.

The roughly 6800 flight attendants have threatened to walk off the job Wednesday if their demands aren’t met.

Air Canada says it will operate a partial schedule in the event of a strike, but hasn’t revealed any details on contingency plans.
