Fog advisory in effect for Brantford with ‘near zero visibility’ expected

Environment Canada says a fog advisory is in effect for Brant County.

The weather agency says “near zero visibility” in fog is expected Thursday morning in Brantford, Woodstock, Tillsonburg and Oxford County.

Some areas are already experiencing dense fog and visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to the heavy fog.

Officials are warning drivers to slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
