Memorial tribute to 197 Hamiltonians who died at Dieppe 79 years ago

79 years ago more than 6000 allied soldiers stormed the beach at Dieppe France, many of them from right here in Hamilton. Tragically, the attack wasn’t a success and the majority of soldiers from the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry were either killed or taken prisoner. Adam Atkinson reports.
