Ontario is reporting 348 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday and 10 deaths, including six that occurred more than two months ago.
The data is based on more than 17,408 tests completed on the previous day.
The province says 203 of the positive cases were in unvaccinated individuals, 49 were in partially vaccinated and 79 in fully vaccinated.
There are currently 127 patients in intensive care with COVID-related critical illness and 78 on ventilators.
The province says 40,626 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine were administered in the last 24-hour period for a total of more than 20.2 million.
Eighty-one per cent of Ontarians aged 12 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 73 per cent have received both shots.
Of the province’s 626 long-term care homes, at least two are in an outbreak.
An active COVID-19 outbreak indicates that the home has at least one lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 (in resident or staff) and the local public health unit or the home has declared an outbreak.
