Two people arrested after man stabbed in St. Catharines: Niagara police

Two people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in St. Catharines Wednesday morning.

Niagara police officers were called about a disturbance in area of Court St. and Centre St. around 7:30 a.m.

They found a 43-year-old man who had been stabbed and assaulted in an alleyway after an altercation.

The victim was taken to an out-of-region hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Jacob Lundy, 20, of St. Catharines was arrested and charged aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

Police also arrested 22-year-old Tamara Stewart. She was charged with aggravated assault.
