Niagara Falls crash victim identified

Niagara Regional Police have identified the victim of a crash in Niagara Falls.

20 year old Frankie Maiolo from Fort Erie was pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday afternoon. He was going southbound on Sodom Road in his 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier, when he crossed the northbound lane, drove into a ditch on the east side of the road and struck a tree.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash. Any witnesses of the collision are asked to contact police.
