New NDP MPP takes seat in legislature

Catherine Fife won the seat in Kitchener-Waterloo in one of two by-elections last week, ensuring the Liberals didn’t get a majority government.

This is the first time a New Democrat MPP has won in the history of the Kitchener-Waterloo riding.
