Niagara Parks Commission says Wallenda paid in full
The Niagara Parks Commission now says wire walker Nik Wallenda paid everything he owed prior to his June 15th walk across Niagara Falls.
This comes after reports last week that Wallenda’s wire walk over the falls had left him in debt.
However, the mayor of Niagara Falls, NY says Wallenda owes that city $25 thousand for police and fire overtime costs.
Wallenda says he never had a contract with the city, and any extra expenses were supposed to be covered by his contract with New York State Parks.
