Hockey coach charged with sex offences

Peel police have arrested and charged a 67-year-old former volunteer hockey coach with sexual offences dating back to the 1970s and 80s.

That’s when Paul Rodgers coached in a hockey house league.

Investigators say he committed sex-related offences against at least 2 young players.

Rodgers faces 2 counts of indecent assault on a male and 2 counts of gross indecency.

Police fear he may have victimized other hockey players, and ask that victims contact them.
