Tuesday night, Niagara police found a woman suffering from serious injuries at a home on Thorold Stone Road in Niagara Falls.

She said she’d been violently attacked by her own 16 year old foster son who allegedly used a garden shovel and frying pans to assault her.

She went to hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the boy fled to Ajax and was later found by police.

He’ll be facing several charges, including attempted murder.

He can’t be identified because of his age.
