Ontario politicians don’t seem enthusiastic about one American business’ expansion plans.
Party leaders reacted today about word Nevada’s famous Moonlite Bunny Ranch brothel is considering expanding in to Toronto, after Ontario’s top court struck down Canada’s brothel and bawdy house laws.
Premier Dalton McGuinty: “We’re not going there. Next question.”
PC leader Tim Hudak: “I don’t know if that’s something the other parties are considering. That argument does exist in some circles, but not in the PC party.”
NDP leader Andrea Horwath: “Well, I mean, that’s certainly wouldn’t be my first way to pursue economic development in Toronto or anywhere else.”
The ranch has been around since the 1950s, and has already expanded into four other sites in Nevada. It’s also looking into setting up in Amsterdam.
