Delay for bus-only lane

A pilot project for a bus-only lane in downtown Hamilton has been delayed.

The program was approved by council in November.

It’ll see a stretch of King Street, from John to Bay, used as a bus-only lane during rush hours.

The project was supposed to start next month, but it’s been bumped until the fall.

Representatives for the city’s Public Works Department say the delay is because of construction and a lane closure along King Street.
