Catholics celebrate Collins’ promotion to Cardinal

It was a full house today at St Michael’s Cathedral in Toronto as the Catholic community officially celebrated the recent appointment of one of their own.

Toronto Archbishop Thomas Collins is now a Cardinal, joining an elite group of priests around the world who, among their duties, will get to choose the next pope. Cristina Tenaglia was in Toronto for the celebrations.
