Arrest made in bank scam

A Hamilton woman has been charged after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from the bank account of an 84 year old man.

Hamilton police say between January and November of 2010, Maria Del-Fine-Scozzari was the administrator at a residential care facility, where the victim lived.

Police say she allegedly took the man’s bank cards and accessed his bank account, taking a total of $80,000.

The 51 year old Scozzari faces charges of theft of conversion.
