The organizers of the Pan Am 2015 games say the board of directors have approved the city of Hamilton’s plans for a soccer venue.

Games organizers are giving the thumbs up to the renovation of Ivor Wynne stadium.
The Pan Am committee says it’s looking forward to working closely with Hamilton to help ensure the soccer facility is delivered on time and on budget.

The Ontario Soccer Association will be able to locate regional and provincial training centres at the facility.
