Neil Bantleman’s file given to prosecutor

CHCH News has confirmed that the police handed over Neil Bantleman’s file to the public prosecutor on Friday.

The Burlington native wrote a letter to Prime Minister Stephen Harper asking for help earlier this week.

Bantleman has been held in an Indonesian jail without charges for over a month, and is looking for more help.

After receiving the file, the prosecutor now has to make the decision on whether there’s enough evidence to lay charges.
