Empty chicken barn burns in Glanbrook

Hamilton fire crews are responding to a barn fire at White Church Rd near Nebo in Glanbrook.

They say a metal clad barn that was formerly used to house chickens, is fully engulfed in flames. There are currently more than 20 units bringing in water and working to put out the fire.

Fortunately there were no people or animals inside at the time.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
