Conservatives in the Burlington-Oakville area met tonight to hear from their candidates in a contest that’s been characterized as hostile and even nasty. The candidates are running for the party’s nomination in a newly-created riding. Tonight’s meeting was for party members only. Tories who were there say the meeting went well, but the underlying controversy hasn’t been resolved yet.

After about two hours, Conservatives were all smiles as they left their meeting saying it was a productive session.
