Wynne says candidates’ apologies sincere

Premier Kathleen Wynne says the apologies of two Liberal candidates are sincere, but she still says they were inappropriate.

Niagara West-Glanbrook candidate David Mossey posted a picture comparing two women on his Facebook page.

While Ottawa candidate Jack Uppal joked on Facebook about the differences between men and women.

“I’ve been very clear, in these situations, in the two situations that i’m aware of that the comments were inappropriate and the correct actions been taken,” said Wynne.

Wynne didn’t comment on what actions were taken, but both candidates are still running in the June 12 election.
