Pilot killed in Stoney Creek plane crash

The Transportation Safety Board is investigating a deadly plane crash this morning in Stoney Creek.

A small amateur aircraft crashed just after 7 am on Mud St near the Stoney Creek airport. One person was killed when the plane went down. A team of investigators is on the scene, trying to find out what caused the crash.

The plane was on fire when emergency crews arrived.

Officials haven’t identified the crash victim.
