Hobby shop theft

A hobby shop on Hamilton mountain was the target of a break and enter over the weekend with damages and losses estimated to be in the thousands.

Chris’ House on Concession street has been in business since 2009 and specializes in radio control vehicles. Early Sunday morning about $7000 worth of merchandise was stolen.

Security camera footage shows a thief trying to open the side door in an alleyway. He eventually gives up and gains access to the store, breaking through the front door which will cost another $3 300 to replace.
