Niagara police are searching for a 55-year-old woman after a pure-bred donkey was stolen from a Grimsby barn.

Investigators say a four-year-old Mammoth Jackstock donkey named “Royal Major League” was stolen from his barn in August 2018.

On Friday, police issued an arrest warrant for Michelle “Mickey” DuMoulin, of no fixed address. She is wanted for theft over $5,000.

It is believed that Royal Major League is being used for breeding.

Police do not know the whereabouts of DuMoulin and the donkey.

Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, ext. 5400.
