Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who allegedly threw a chair off a high balcony in Toronto’s downtown core.

They say the incident happened on Feb. 9 around 10 a.m. at a condo building in the Harbour St. and York St. area.

A video published online appears to show the woman throwing the chair from the balcony, which overlooks a major highway.

The chair landed in front of the entrance to a building, according to Toronto police. There were no reports of injuries.

Police say other items were also thrown from the balcony during the incident.

The woman is described as being in her twenties, roughly five-foot-one, 110 lbs., with a slim build, and long blond hair. She was wearing a black leather jacket, black clothing and black high heels.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5200, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS.
