Canadian descendants of slaves vow to fight any new growth of racism or white supremacy in the country

Almost two centuries after the end of slavery in Canada, ancestors of slaves are vowing to fight any new growth of racism and white supremacy in this country.

They’re calling on people to join them tomorrow in an Emancipation Day celebration.
