VIDEO: U.S. President Donald Trump’s chaotic tariff agenda is now targeting nations who allegedly fail to issue bans on forced labour. The White House announced it will slap an additional 10-percent levy on Canada and a number of other countries following an investigation into the issue. The tariffs are part of Trump’s push to replace revenue lost when the U.S. Supreme Court struck down his sweeping global levies he imposed last year. Prime Minister Mark Carney told reporters Wednesday that he was not surprised about the new levies, adding that Canada has strong mechanisms in place to tackle this in supply chains. This as both countries enter the final month before a review of the Canada-U.S.-Mexico trade agreement.
