Violence spreads in Northern Ireland following serious stabbing

Violence has erupted across Belfast after a knife attack left a local man seriously injured, and triggered days of unrest in Northern Ireland. Police in charge of investigating the attack say a 30-year-old Sudanese asylum seeker is now charged with attempted murder in connection with the incident. But what began as anger over the stabbing quickly escalated into anti-immigration riots, with homes and vehicles set on fire, and people forced to flee.
