Trump says he won’t rule out use of military force to acquire Greenland

As President-elect Donald Trump’s official inauguration date approaches, he standing firm in his pursuit of acquiring land beyond the borders of the United States.

In a news conference this morning, Trump stated that purchasing Greenland is crucial for “national security.”

This coincides with a visit to the island territory by his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.

Trump has long expressed interest in owning Greenland, making comments about it as far back as his first term in office.

Today, he doubled down on this ambition, stating he would not rule out the use of military force to achieve this goal.
