VIDEO: Drones carrying explosives targeted a city in northern Iraq where U.S. forces are stationed, and sirens rang out in Bahrain. The events unfolded hours after the American military said it finished its 13th night of strikes against Iran. The conflict has flared again over the past week, as the U.S. has pounded Iran while Tehran has attacked ships in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted U.S. assets and allies in the region. U.S. President Donald Trump says he’s seriously considering a restart of major combat operations in Iran, with strikes larger than those carried out during “Operation Epic Fury.” In an interview with Axios on Thursday, Trump has said he’s close to making a decision, but stressed no final call has been made.
