Authorities say flash floods in Spain turned village streets into rivers, ruined homes, disrupted transportation, and killed at least 95 people.

Rainstorms that started on Tuesday and continued overnight caused flooding in a wide swath of southern and eastern Spain.

Emergency services in Valencia reported at least 92 deaths, while three additional deaths were confirmed in neighboring regions.

Rescue workers are searching for survivors and victims, with countless individuals still missing.
