The Toronto Maple Leafs announced that it has fired head coach Craig Berube, 45 days after the team let go of former general manager Brad Treliving. Toronto’s new GM, John Chayka, made the move shortly after meeting with Berube about the team’s direction and his future. Despite Berube’s winning record with the Leafs, which included a 108-point campaign in his first season, his team finished last place in their division this past season.
