Leaked audio concerns over gun buy-back program reveal public safety minister doubts

Leaked audio is raising serious questions about Ottawa’s controversial gun buyback program.

In the nearly 20 minute recording, Canada’s Minister of Public Safety can be heard, voicing his doubts over the programs efficacy and even admitting that municipal police forces lack the resources to arrest anyone who doesn’t comply.

It’s been a red letter day for anyone in Canada who is pro-gun.

The clip in question came out on Sunday and has been referenced by the Tories over and over again.

While they call for minister Anandasangaree to resign, the public safety minister maintains his comments were made in “jest.”
