VIDEO: As war churns throughout the Middle East, condemnation of Canada’s Prime Minister and his support for the American strikes on Iran have sparked discourse online. A weekend post made by Will Greaves, a rookie MP from Victoria BC, has called into question Canada’s support for the military action carried out by the United States and what it means for the nations identity, in a rapidly changing global world order. Greaves argues that Canada’s support for what he’s called an illegal use of military force in Iran goes against the nations principles and that automatically aligning with the United States, at a time when President Trump has threatened our own sovereignty, might be a bad idea.
