VIDEO: Prime Minister Mark Carney unveiled his government’s plan to launch a Canadian sovereign wealth fund. Known as the “Canada Strong Fund,” the initiative is designed to help finance major nation-building projects including new ports, mining developments, and energy corridors. The fund will be backed by an initial investment of $25 billion and will also give individual Canadians the opportunity to contribute and share in it’s potential returns.
