Carney launches economic advisory team to navigate U.S. trade talks

Prime Minister Mark Carney has unveiled a powerhouse group of political heavyweights and industry leaders from across all sectors of the Canadian economy to help guide the nation’s economic strategy with the United States. With the CUSMA agreement set for review later this summer, his new committee plans to get to work right away, with its first scheduled meeting set to take place on April 27.
