Carney calls separation referendum a ‘dangerous bluff’

VIDEO: Prime Minister Mark Carney says the Alberta referendum on separation is a “dangerous bluff,” if Albertans are considering heading into a vote to send a message. Carney told reporters Monday he saw the effects of that first-hand when he was the Governor of the Bank of England after the Brexit vote. It comes after Alberta Premier Danielle Smith confirmed last week her government will add a question on independence in the referendum scheduled for October.
