VIDEO: Canada’s privacy commissioner, Philippe Dufresne, has released a report showing OpenAI violated some of the country’s privacy laws while training chatbot ChatGPT. Dufresne says OpenAI launched the program without having fully addressed known privacy issues — and as a result, a mass of personal data was collected.
