Tragically Hip’s final concert to be broadcast live

If you were one of the people who couldn’t get tickets to the Tragically Hip’s concert this summer, don’t worry. Now you will get a chance to catch the band’s final concert live on CBC.

The news comes after many frustrated Hip fans couldn’t get tickets called on the public broadcaster to air the band’s final show.

The Hip’s final show will take place at the Rogers K-Rock Centre in the Hip’s hometown of Kingston, on August 20.

Tickets for the highly anticipated Man Machine Poem tour was announced after frontman Gord Downie revealed he has incurable brain cancer.

Tragically Hip’s 14th studio album, Man Machine Poem, is released on today.
