Toronto police identify woman who allegedly threw chair off balcony

Toronto police say they have identified a woman who allegedly threw a chair and several other items off a balcony in downtown Toronto.

Investigators say they have been in touch with the woman and are arranging for her to turn herself in.

A video circulating online appears to show a woman throw a chair from the balcony, which overlooks a major highway.

The chair landed in front of the entrance to a building, according to Toronto police.

Other unidentified items were also thrown from the high-rise balcony during the incident.

Police believe it happened on Feb. 9 and say no injuries were reported.

The incident is being investigated as a case of mischief endangering life.
