Toronto-bound lanes of Burlington Skyway reopen after fiery crash involving 8 vehicles

All Toronto-bound lanes of the Burlington Skyway Bridge have reopened after three vehicles caught fire in an eight-vehicle crash Wednesday.

Ontario Provincial Police closed all Toronto-bound lanes of the bridge for several hours during the afternoon rush hour.

Hamilton Paramedic Service Supt. Dave Thompson says one person was taken to a trauma centre and two others were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

There is no word yet on the cause of the collision or whether any charges will be laid.
