Tips to assemble a spring wardrobe refresh

First Published:

Ready to put away your parka and venture outside- and to see people inside again?!? Fashion expert Erin Nadler of Better Styled has pulled together a spring wardrobe refresh.

Elita Undergarments

Nadler says any great outfit starts with great undergarments. She recommends Elita. She says this Canadian company, which has been around for 30 years, believes in modern silhouettes and great fabrics.

She says a seamless pair of underwear is essential because it is super comfortable and will go under anything. She says one of the most important pieces to get this spring is a tank top.

“A lot of women are wearing them underneath something that might be sheer, but also wearing them on their own,” said Nadler. “Whether under a suit jacket or underneath a cardigan, [Elita’s tank top] with piping and a little bralette is a great way to start the spring and summer seasons.”

Structured Dressing

Nadler assembled a structured outfit from Winners and Marshall’s. She put together a blue textured blazer with a pair of blue jeans and a graphic t-shirt underneath. She says this outfit can be easily dressed up or down and is a great pop of colour for spring.

She also recommends a straight-leg jean because it can be easily cuffed, worn with a pair of ballet flats or a running shoe.

ECCO

Nadler says with ECCO shoes, you don’t have to compromise comfort for great style and great quality. She recommends ECCO running shoes which come in a variety of different colours. She says you can pair ECCO shoes with a basic outfit to add a pop of colour.

Handbags

Nadler recommends ECCO handbags, specifically the pot bag. It is made from up-cycled leather. She says all their handbags are extremely versatile and comfortable for when you’re on-the-go this spring.
