It was a beautiful morning for a run, as hundreds turned out for the ninth-annual Strides For The General run and walk including members of Hamiltons’ firefighters’ association.

Since 2011, the event has raised more than a million dollars. The proceeds from the event support the purchase of vital equipment used at the Hamilton General Hospital, including the regional rehabilitation centre.
