Two women killed in crash on QEW in Burlington

Two women in their early 20’s have died following an early morning crash on the QEW in Burlington, OPP say.

The highway was closed in both directions between Brant St. and Guelph starting around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

OPP say four vehicles were involved in the crash. Three people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

OPP say the westbound lanes are expected to be open by 1 p.m., while the eastbound lanes will likely be closed until 5 p.m.
