Police search for man wanted for sexual assault in Oakville

Halton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a male suspect following a sexual assault incident in Oakville.

Police say a victim was walking in the area of Sandpiper Rd. and Fourth Line around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday when she was grabbed from behind by an unknown man.

The victim then fell to the ground and the man fled the area on foot. Officers say no physical injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as white, in his late 30’s, around five-foot-eight, heavy build with crew cut dark hair.

He was last seen wearing bright fluorescent green shorts, a grey top and black running shoes.
