Tessa grew up in Oakville, Ont., and has been a news addict for as long as she can remember. She studied Global Business and Digital Arts at the University of Waterloo, earning a minor in Spanish while studying in Madrid. After graduating, she decided to pursue her passions in journalism at Humber College. While at Humber, Tessa became the sports writer and editor at the school’s newspaper, Et Cetera, as well as a general assignment writer for the Humber News website. She worked with her peers to develop a successful weekly publication of the paper, and contributed to monthly newscasts and podcast episodes.
