Ontario reported 2,759 cases of COVID-19 and 31 deaths on Thursday, as vaccine booking opened up to residents 40 and older.
The reported positivity rate is 5.7 per cent, while the province completed 47,638 tests in the last day.
Ontario is reporting 2,759 cases of #COVID19 and over 47,600 tests completed. Locally, there are 774 new cases in Toronto, 602 in Peel, 258 in York Region, 147 in Durham and 133 in Hamilton.

There are 1,632 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 across the province. There are 776 in ICU with 568 of them on ventilators.
The province administered 137,697 vaccine doses on Wednesday. There are 407,600 people in the province who have received both required vaccine doses.
Another 3,455 cases have been marked as resolved.
