Ontario reported 270 cases of COVID-19 and three deaths on Monday, as the government begins opening up eligibility for second vaccine doses.
The reported positivity rate is 2.5 per cent, with the province completing 13,828 tests within the last day.
Ontario is reporting 270 cases of #COVID19 and over 13,800 tests completed. Locally, there are 47 new cases in Toronto, 44 in the Region of Waterloo, 42 in Peel, 22 in York Region, 12 in Ottawa and 12 in Niagara.

Another 118,625 vaccine doses were administered on Sunday. Nearly 3 million Ontarians have now received both required vaccine doses.
There are 261 people in hospital with COVID-19 across the province. There are 323 patients in intensive care units because of COVID-19 related illness with 202 of them on ventilators.
The death toll is now 9,022 people.
Another 486 cases have been marked as resolved.
