Olivia, Noah take top spots on list of most popular baby names of 2020

The pandemic baby boom has been a hot topic over the last few years and now we know the top names parents chose for their newest addition.

Ontario has released the top 20 baby names for 2020 and a few new names even made the cut.

Olivia remains a favourite, taking the top spot for baby girl names. It is the 11th year in a row the name has claimed the number one spot.

Charlotte is also, once again, a top choice for parents and came in second place followed by Emma.

Noah was the leading name chosen for baby boys in 2020, with Liam following closely behind.

The list also welcomed Isla, Theodore and Leo to the top ten.
