There is a new view of Niagara Falls that has never been seen before, but to get there, you have to go 180 feet below the ground below the Niagara Parks Power Station.
The historic Niagara Parks Power Station beside the Upper Niagara River was built in 1905 and generated hydroelectricity for over 100 years.
Excavation of the tunnel began in 1901 with only lanterns, pickaxes, and shovels. Now a giant tunnel leads tourists to an amazing view of the falls.
Converting the tunnel into a tourist attraction cost about $3.5M but the view is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of people to Niagara.
Admission is $28 for an adult and opens to the public on Canada Day.
